Eco Cribs & Changing Tables

You wouldn’t believe the research I did before choosing the cribs to offer to you. Lots of cribs claim to be green but in fact contain chemicals that are known to harm an infant’s health.

First: It couldn’t be finished with any toxic chemicals or contain formaldehyde. These chemicals have been shown to cause cancer in children and adults and contribute to respiratory illness.

Second : They had to be made from Forest Stewardship Council certified wood so that you could be sure it wasn’t made from some of the world’s most threatened ecosystems such as old-growth forests.

Third: It had to be made to last and manufactured in the U.S.A.

And last, I wanted it to be beautiful so that you would have as much joy looking at it as you do knowing what a difference you are making for the health of your baby and the planet.
